Opportunities to learn and play American mahjong are regularly added to this page! Events include but are not limited to:

Beginner Mahjong 101 - For complete beginners or those who need the fundamentals of American mahjong.  This lesson is designed for those who perhaps have never even seen a set of tiles before!  

Guided Play Mahjong 102 - For players who have already completed Mahjong 101 and are ready to keep playing, learning, and asking questions.  Players at these sessions are generally still beginners- this is a great chance to play and learn as you go!

Open Play - If you already know the game play rules, have a good pace of play, and can play without instruction or reminders, open play may be for you!  A great way to meet other players and play socially!  Players also earn trinkets as a fun twist to mahjong night!

Seasonal League Play - Weekly play for 4 to 6 weeks for players who know how to play and are looking for social, lightly competitive play.  Players should know all the rules for game play and have a good pace of play as that makes it fair to other players at league nights.  Players earn trinkets as well as points that go towards fun mahjong prizes!  My aim is to make leagues fun and social- the priority is socializing and regular play together.  Consider joining when you’re ready!
